At the center of the RL 5000 is a 10.4-inch VGA color LCD display (640 × 480), providing ample space for custom graphics, branding, couponing, and on-screen advertising. Powered by an Intel XScale® processor running Microsoft® Windows® CE .NET, the RL 5000 supports a wide range of value-added features while maintaining fast, stable operation.
Cash handling flexibility is a major strength. The RL 5000 supports one to four cash cassettes, allowing operators to match capacity precisely to transaction volume. An 80 mm thermal receipt printer with presenter and large journal storage (32,768 records) support high-usage environments while simplifying audits and reporting.
Security and accessibility are built in. The RL 5000 is ADA compliant, includes audio transactions for visually impaired users, and features a VISA Encrypting PIN Pad (VEPP) with Triple DES (TDES) encryption. Cabinet options include a UL 291 Business Hours cabinet as standard, with an optional UL 291 Level 1 safe for higher-risk locations. Locking options range from electronic locks to Kaba Mas Cencon upgrades.
